Wilkommen! 

Leavenworth Village Voices is fully engaged in the process of bringing the Leavenworth Choral Festival 2012 to life. Leavenworth Choral Festival is held in the Spring in the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, Washington, every other year (even-numbered years).   

Five Pacific Northwest Choirs are invited to perform, along with the Leavenworth Village Voices.  Each choir performs individually and then all 6 choirs join together in a grand finale of three pieces en masse, directed by our Guest Director.  Over 200 voices produce a glorious sound and create firm friendships in Leavenworth’s Festhalle.   

There are three parts to Leavenworth Choral Festival: 

• Welcome, Friday evening

• Workshops, Saturday morning and afternoon, taught by our Guest Director

• Concert open to the Public, Saturday evening

·     Application requests are available in August (odd-numbered years), and have been send out already for 2012.

Our Guest Director is Dr. Mike Hibbett, Director for Columbia Chorale, Wenatchee, WA.
